OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition heading for Europe, but you’ll need to call in a favour

The One Plus 5T Star Wars edition is coming to Europe, but unfortunately Brits aren’t in line to be One(Plus) with the force.

OnePlus has confirmed fans in Denmark, Finland and Sweden will be able to grab the special edition handset, which features exclusive design and software quirks.

Finns will even be able to buy the handset at the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi at the Helsinki Tennis Palace on December 13 (via Android Central).

The following day, online sales will commence, so if you know any Scandinavians it’s time to call in those favours.

The device was initially announced as an exclusive for the Indian market, but OnePlus expanding availability will give Star Wars fans a new hope they’ll be able to get their hands on the sought after handset.

Fantastic phone

The OnePlus 5T is the latest flagship from the popular upstart fir and is headlined by a 6-inch, edge-to-edge 18:9 display.

Like its slightly older sibling, the OnePlus 5, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, with up to 8GB RAM.

In our review, posted earlier this month, mobile editor Max Parker awarded the phone a 9/10 score. He praised the OLED screen, slick software, excellent value and fast performance.

He wrote: “The OnePlus 5T is a fantastic phone for the price. It’s display is gorgeous, software slick and camera reliable. It’s also supremely fast and the performance can easily be compared to phones that cost hundreds of pounds more.”
