One studio really wants to see Monster Hunter World on Nintendo Switch
Iron Galaxy Studios has said it would be very interested in the idea of porting Monster Hunter World to Nintendo Switch.
Previously responsible for porting Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to Nintendo Switch, Iron Galaxy clearly have experience with the hybrid platform.
Studio head Adam Boyes took to Twitter this past weekend to express interest in porting Capcom’s blockbuster to the Switch.

This seems to be a response to a statement made by Capcom regarding Monster Hunter World being built specifically for PS4 and Xbox One, thus making a port quite unlikely.

Despite only launching at the end of January 2018, Monster Hunter World has already shipped over 7.5 million copies worldwide.
It is now the most popular title in the company’s history, turning a title previously considered niche into a global success.
We’d love to see a port of Monster Hunter World come to Switch, although we imagine a number of visual and mechanical compromises will have to be made.
