Nvidia’s latest flagship graphics card, the Nvidia Titan X, is now in shops, and it’s a bit of a beast. Here’s where you can pick one up – provided you have the necessary cash.
We’re not going to beat around the bush here. The Nvidia Titan X is damned expensive.
You can currently pick up the stand-alone Nvidia Titan X direct from Nvidia for £1,099. We repeat – that’s purely for the graphics card on its own.
For that money, though, you’re getting a brand new generation of graphical power based on an entirely new chip, the the GP102. It’s still based on Nvidia’s Pascal architecture, though, which packs those transistors more tightly than the previous Maxwell technology.

The Titan X’s 3854 CUDA cores dwarfs the 3072 on the GTX Titan X and the 2560 on the GTX 1080, while its base clock speed of 1417MHz is a fair jump up from 1000MHz on the previous model. You also get a tasty 12GB of 10Gbps GDDR5X memory on board, as well as an ultra-wide 384-bit memory bus.
Whilst you can only grab the stand-alone Titan X from Nvidia itself, you’ll be able to grab it as part of a monster PC package from specialists such as Scan and PC Specialist.
We shudder to think how much these monster gaming rigs will cost with the Titan X at their core. For those who want the very best gaming system money can buy, though, we suspect that the Titan X will need to be involved. Best get that credit card warmed up.
