Nvidia Grid now streams games in 1080p Full HD at 60fps

Nvidia Grid, the company’s cloud gaming service, is now capable of streaming content in glorious 1080p, Full HD at 60 frames-per-second, the firm has confirmed.

Introduced through a new public beta, the 1080p Grid revamp gives a better representation of the service users can expect when formally launched later this month.

Grid, which will be exclusively available to owners of the Nvidia Shied games unit, currently supports more than 50 games, with new titles being added on a weekly basis.

Of this half century of titles, Nvidia has confirmed that “at least 35 of those games will be able to stream up to 1080p60” from day one.

The list of Full HD compatible titles includes the likes of Batman: Arkham Origins, Ultra Street Fighter 4 and GRID 2.

Nvidia has recommended that those looking to make use of the 1080p content ensure they have an internet connection with download speeds of at least 30Mbps.
