Nvidia Grid gains two new games for “Grid Tuesday”

The Nvidia Grid service is getting two brand new games this week as part of the weekly “Grid Tuesday”.

This week, Nvidia is adding two well-reviewed indie titles to the Grid game streaming service: Stacking and PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate.

“As gamers, we know that these two indie titles are fun games that are well worth playing and adding to our Grid library,” said Nvidia in a statement.

Stacking is made by Double Fine Productions and sees you explore a vintage world as living Russian stacking dolls. There are over 100 unique dolls to discover in the game, each with their own special abilities that you’ll need to use to solve the game’s puzzles and challenges.

PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate on the other hand is a tower defence game by Q-Games, responsible for all the PixelJunk games. It features 47 levels of increasing difficulty, 24 challenges and lots of unlockable content to explore.

Currently, Nvidia Grid is being offered as a completely free service for anyone with an Nvidia Shield Tablet or the older Nvidia Shield handheld. It is free to use and will remain so until June 30, 2015 at which point it will become a paid for service.

Nvidia Grid is a cloud game streaming service that aims to compete with PlayStation Now and OnLive.

Games are stored in an online cloud and then you stream them directly to your Nvidia Shield or Shield Tablet.
