Nuzzle is a smart collar for your dog or cat
We’ve seen a few smart collars for dogs and cats, but Nuzzle is the first to let you track more than one pet at a time.
It uses GPS and a cellular network. The makers claim this makes it more reliable than those that only use crowd GPS, and that it has a further reach than Bluetooth-only devices. Unlike some that use mobile networks, there’s no monthly fee. Once you buy it, that’s all there is to pay.
In terms of smart skills, it does everything a human-worn fitness tracker does – it tracks your pet’s route, how far they’ve walked, pace, and how long they’ve been active for. But the battery lasts longer than most – five days, so you won’t have to juice it up every evening.
It comes with two batteries, so your pet is never without its smart skills.

You can set up a geofence and get an alert on your phone if your pet wanders beyond it. And if you don’t like the standard design, you can clip the tracker onto your own collar using the customised attachment piece that comes with every Nuzzle.
It’s raised $33,000 of a $75,000 funding goal. It costs $149 (£97) on an early bird, and if successful, it will ship in March.
