Now TV launches new Apple TV app
More content is heading to the 2015 Apple TV with the news that Sky’s Now TV service will get its own app.
The new app is available as of today, making the online streaming service available to owners of new Apple device in the UK.
Although the launch is no surprise considering the service has been available on previous versions of Apple TV, the announcement hopefully signals the beginning of more TV providers bringing their shows to more platforms.
Now TV is Sky’s on demand service for movies, sport and TV shows, allowing customers to buy monthly access to any or all of the three packages.
Gidon Katz, Director of NOW TV, said in an online announcement “We are pleased to be able to offer our range of flexible and great value NOW TV passes to Apple TV customers on the new box.”

Developers voiced their frustration this week with the lack of categories in the gaming section of the OS, which was one of the big features Apple was keen to highlight when it announced the device.
