Nook Simple Touch eReader price slashed, now yours for £29

Barnes and Noble has slashed the price of its Nook Simple Touch eReader, making it available for just £29 as part of the ‘Get London Reading’ campaign.
Knocking £50 off its £79 RRP, Barnes and Noble are offering the Nook Simple Touch eReader at this bargain price for a limited time only in support of the aforementioned literary initiative and National Literacy Charity Beanstalk.
One thousand Nook Simple Touch devices are being donated to the charity, which recruits, trains and provides support for literacy volunteers in schools that promote engagement with literature, especially in areas with high levels of illiteracy.

It was a perfect fit when we had the opportunity to partner on the ‘Get London Reading’ campaign. Also offered at the £50 discounted price is the Nook Simple Touch GlowLight, now £69 and the Nook HD and Nook HD tablets which are now £129 and £179 respectively.
Nook Simple Touch Features
Lacking the built-in backlight of the GlowLight version, the Nook Simple Touch eReader offers a 6-inch touchscreen with E Ink Pearl technology. Weighing around 212g, the eReader offers around 2 months battery life based on a half hour of daily reading.
The Nook Simple Touch eReader has 2GB of internal storage capable of holding up to 1,000 literary works, but this can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 32GB.
Anyone using the Nook Simple Touch will have access to the Nook Store that contains over 3 million titles, including magazines and newspapers.
