Nokia Lumia 900 Unveiled In Official Video?

A Nokia video promoting the Windows Phone platform to
developers has given us a glimpse of a new piece of hardware which could be the
successor to the Lumia 800.

The Nokia Lumia 800 went on sale in the UK this week
and the Finnish company – along with new partners Microsoft – will be hoping
the phone will give the whole WP7 platform a lift.

Nokia is not content with launching the Lumia 800 and the budget friendly Lumia
however as a new device has been revealed in a promotional video aimed at
getting more app developers to choose the Windows Phone platform.

As you can see in the video above, the new handset, which will supposedly be called the Lumia
900, looks to be a similar size to the 800 but with curved corners. It is rumoured
to have a better processor and possibly an improved screen.

Earlier this week, the head of Nokia in France, Paul Amsellem, revealed
that a Windows 8 tablet from Nokia would be available in June next year as well
as hinting that there would be a new flagship WP7 phone coming too.

Whatever about the possibility of getting a Windows 8 tablet
to market by June 2012 (highly unlikely), the prediction about an updated WP7 phone coming sooner
rather seems to be spot on.

Nokia has also revealed the next two updates to the Symbian
OS, with Carla bringing NFC support, Dolby sound and a better browser while
Donna will allow for dual-core hardware – though how many of these we’ll
actually see is debatable.
