The Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit is all about cars, submarines and planes

Nintendo has announced the third entry in its collection of Labo kits, and this one’s all about taking to the open road and wherever else these things can take you.
The ‘Vehicle Kit’ will be coming to Nintendo Switch on September 14, 2018, and will allow players to build a variety of inventions with their own unique minigames.
Much like the Variety Kit that came before it, this new iteration will have you building a range of different Toy-con including a submarine, a plane, a pedal, two keys and more.
That’s plenty of building to be getting on with, as we’d expect from the $69.99 price tag the Vehicle Kit boasts at launch, which is in line with previous releases.

Nintendo Labo is a really neat invention from the Japanese company, providing players of all ages with an avenue of virtual creativity. Having built some ourselves, it’ll take up a couple hours of your time just to get things up and running, which is part of the fun!
But what did we think of it? While testing out the Robo and Variety Kits, Brett Phipps described them as “something every child would love – and, importantly, something from which every child will learn.”
The upcoming Vehicle Kit looks really promising, and the likes of cars, motorcycles and submarines have plenty of potential for brief yet entertaining games to accompany the cardboard inventions.
