Nexus 9 accessories have started appearing on Amazon
Talk of the Nexus 9 hasn’t even officially left Google lips yet but there’s already accessories appearing on Amazon for the device.
Head over to Amazon US and you’ll find a couple of Nexus 9-stamped goodies up for grabs.
First up is a smart cover case designed specifically for the new device. The uber-keen retailer is selling it in black only for a bargain basement price of $5.90 (£3.70) plus shipping.
There’s also a ProCase tri-fold case that sports a spiffing sky blue colour scheme and comes with a bonus stylus included. This is priced up at $6.99 (£4.38) plus shipping.
Amusingly, sellers seem to be hedging their bets with the device’s title, with the upcoming tablet tagged up as the Nexus 9, the Nexus 8, and the Nexus 8.9.
This infers that Google hasn’t even told accessory sellers the name of its fast-approaching device.
The Nexus 9 is expected to launch at some point today, revealed alongside the much-rumoured Nexus 6 smartphone.
It’s generally accepted that HTC is behind the Nexus 7-successor’s design, although we know little else about the mystery device right now.
Mum’s been the word over at Google in regards to the announcement thus far, with the upcoming Android L operating system still devoid of an official moniker.
