New Sims 4 trailer focusses on the weird and wonderful

A new Sims 4 trailer has been released, with EA focusing on the game’s smarter gameplay and weirder storylines.

The new Sims 4 trailer – entitled ‘Smarter and Weirder’ – looks at the upcoming game’s improved AI and broader range of possible storylines which will let characters do everything from build their own space rockets to grow bizarre plant/cow hybrids.

Showing off the goofy side of the game, the trailer shows everything from one character being caught using a tablet whilst sat on the porcelain throne to another making cheese toasty flavoured cupcakes.

Discussing the game recently, publisher EA stated: “The Sims 4 brings all new ways to play with life; powerful new creative tools, all-new Sims with enhanced emotion and intelligence(/pullqute), and a gaming experience where players control the mind, body and heart of their Sims to bring their stories to life like never before.”

They added: “This is a deep simulation where every Sims has their own story and they are all connected.”

With a Sims 4 release date not set to be held until September 2, check out the new trailer below to tide you over until the game’s late summer arrival.
