New OnePlus 3 seemingly leaked on official website

OnePlus may have a secret new version of the OnePlus 3 in the works, revealed thanks to a potentially accidental website listing.

A Twitter user has posted an image of a new OnePlus 3 colour variant, depicting the phone in a never-before-seen red hue. The new paintjob appears to have been listed on the Chinese version of the OnePlus website, although we haven’t been able to confirm this information.

The new colour option appears to be the same price as existing OnePlus 3 models, but the evidence isn’t exactly substantial. It would be very easy to photoshop a screenshot of the OnePlus website to change the colour of the phone. Still, it’s quite possible that OnePlus has a new version in the works.

It’s worth noting that the Twitter user who posted the image added two follow-up tweets suggesting that the page was taken down quickly:

The OnePlus 3 is currently only available in a ‘Granite’ option. However, OnePlus has already confirmed that a new ‘Soft Gold’ variant will be launched in the latter half of July this year.
