New Mad Max screenshots surface

New Mad Max screenshots have surfaced ahead of the game’s release later this year.

The new screenshot selection has been released by developer Avalanche Studios, also the studio behind Just Cause.

A few screenshots and some concept art have been shown off by Avalanche Studios, highlighting the game’s vehicles, muscle-men and rather bleak landscape.

Mad Max is due out for PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 4, and will therefore miss the opportunity to launch alongside the upcoming movie, which is out on May 15.

Strangely, all news on Mad Max seems to have dried up of late, despite the fact it’s only five months away from release.

There wasn’t even any news of the game at E3 2014, so we’ve not seen or heard anything since it’s original showing at E3 2013.

From what we’ve seen, Mad Max was shaping up to be a rather impressive game, although we’ve not had the opportunity to play it ourselves as yet.
