New Android Wear YouTube app could actually be quite handy

Fancy watching YouTube clips on the LG Watch Urbane or Moto 360? Seriously? Well, with YouTube Player for Android Wear, you can do exactly that.
The app, developed by appfour, allows you to search for videos using your voice and then play them on your Android Wear smartwatch.
Like the regular version of YouTube, the miniaturised app lets you pause, seek and control volume.
You’ll have to connect your timepiece with a Bluetooth-enabled speaker or pair of headphones if you want to actually hear anything though.
If you’re not taken by the idea of watching a lengthy clip on a tiny display attached to your trembling arm, we have good news.
If you have Chromecast, you can also beam YouTube clips to your TV, essentially transforming your smartwatch into a voice-controlled remote.
It’s a feature that makes YouTube Player for Android Wear sound far more appealing.
