- 1,280 x 800 pixel display (189ppi)
- 1.3GHz quad-core processor
- 1.5GB RAM
- 16/32GB storage
- MicroSD card slot (up to 200GB)
- Front and rear cameras
- Stereo speakers
The Fire HD 8 runs on Amazon’s custom-built Fire OS 5, which features a magazine-style UI and the Amazon Underground app store. Underground is packed with premium apps and games that are 100% free – no cost to download, and no in-app purchases either.
