Paul George unveiled as NBA 2K17 cover star

2K Games has announced Indiana Pacers shooting guard Paul George as the cover athlete for the upcoming NBA 2K17.
The Pacers may have been knocked out of the playoffs thanks to a strong showing from the Toronto Raptors, but George still remains one of the NBA’s finest, and his selection as cover star for the latest in the 2K series proves it.
This is the first time he will be featured on the cover of an NBA 2K game, having previously appeared on the cover of 2K’s MyNBA2K16 companion app.
“I have been playing NBA 2K as long as I can remember, and to be honoured as cover athlete of NBA 2K17 is a blessing and vote of confidence that my hard work on and off the court has paid off,” said George.
“I’m excited to partner with 2K and hope to help take the franchise to the next level”.

As well as announcing its new cover star, 2K Games also confirmed the return of Early Tip-Off Weekend.
That means, as of today, any players who pre-order will get their hands on the game four days before its official September 20 release date.
