It sure looks like Nathan Fillion is teasing his role in the Uncharted film
Nathan Fillion, known for his roles in Destiny 2, Firefly and Castle appears to be teasing a role in the Uncharted feature film.
In the past few days, the popular actor has posted two images accompanied by quotes that have fans clamouring for more information on the film’s lengthy development.
The first of which, appearing on July 12, is an image of famous rapper Drake (Nathan Drake, get it?) accompanied by the phrase ‘Sic Parvis Magna.’
Hardcore fans will recognise this as the phrase found on Nathan Drake’s ring worn around his neck. In English, the phrase translates into ‘Greatness from Small Beginnings.’

The second post is far more deliberate, showcasing a scene which could be pulled straight from Uncharted. It features a map, magnifying glass and plenty of other little trinkets.
This time around, the image is accompanied by a date as the caption. More specifically, it’s 16/07/2018. Perhaps we’ll see an announcement regarding the film next week?
Having been stuck in development hell for several years, David O’Russell was penned as director before leaving the project in 2011.
Tom Holland was confirmed by Deadline to have been cast as young Nathan Drake, so perhaps Nathan Fillion will be Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan, otherwise known as Drake’s father figure/mentor.
