MTV Cribs is being reborn on Snapchat

MTV is bringing its legendary ‘Cribs’ show back to life, in an easy-to-chew format for millennials.
The revamped series will be adapted for instant-messaging app Snapchat, and is expected to air in June, according to Variety.
The show will be similar to its forebear, and will feature celebrities guiding viewers around their (frustratingly) luxurious homes.
Hosts include rapper Mac Miller, singer Austin Mahone, and music artist/actor Travis Mills. Yes, we’ve got no idea who they are either.

MTV Cribs first aired in September 2000, featuring tours of over 185 celebrities, musicians, actors, and people in the public eye over an expansive 13-season run.
MTV already has its own featured Snapchat channel, which launched back in February. It’s not clear whether this will be used to air the show, or whether a new, separate account will be set up.
