Motorola’s Moto G 3 (2015) turns up in massive render leak

The original Moto G and its 2014 successor both offered incredible value for money, so imagine our excitement when we came across a Moto G (2015) leak.

This latest early outing for Motorola’s unconfirmed budget handset comes in the form of a series of renders seemingly depicting the device from various angles, via Nowhereelse.

Just like its predecessors, this mysterious device is attractively designed, featuring a large display and curved rear.

Unfortunately, the renders don’t convey much beyond the obvious; there will be dual speakers, both rear- and front-facing cameras, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an Android 5.0 operating system.

It’s also worth noting that we can’t verify the source of this leak, so there’s no way of knowing whether the true Moto G 3 will even look like this.

Fortunately, previous leaks provide some clue as to what we might see from the next Motorola Moto G smartphone.

For a start, it’s been tipped that the handset will feature a 5in display with a HD 720p screen resolution.

Inside, the Moto G (2015) will be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chip, and will include 1GB of memory, 8GB of storage and a 13-megapixel camera.

The Snapdragon chip will be an improvement on last year’s Snapdragon 400 processor, and the resolution of the camera is also better compared to the 8-megapixel sensor featured last time around.

Motorola usually launches its Moto G-series of smartphones in autumn, so we still have a while to wait.

The Moto G (2014) scored a 9/10 in our review, being praised for its improved camera, an impressive battery life, solid design and offering excellent value for money.
