Motorola’s Android Wear smartwatch, the Moto 360, is nearly a year old. However, since it arrived people have done little but talk about a potential successor.
With speculation continuing to run wild, the Lenovo-owned company appeared to tease the Moto 360 2 in a video posted to Twitter… then deleted it.
“#Moto360 helps you find the important things in life,” the tweet read (via The Verge). However, the accompanying video showcased a different model to the one currently on sale.
The watch shown in the video lines up with a Lenovo leak from earlier this year, which revealed redesigned lugs for connecting the strap.
That leak also seemed to confirm that ugly “flat tire” screen design would be carried over from the first generation. Today’s video, although now nowhere to be found, showed both of those features.

The Moto 360 was one of the great early hopes for Android Wear, but poor battery life was one of many factors that lead to a poor reception.
