Moto X Force smartphone is official, boasts ‘shatterproof’ screen
Motorola’s US launch of the Droid Turbo 2 was great for our transatlantic pals, but what about the humble UK?
Fortunately, Motorola has announced the Moto X Force, the international equivalent of the Droid Turbo 2.
The handset’s modus operandi is hardiness, and features what Motorola describes as “the world’s first shatterproof smartphone display”.
The Moto X Force has a 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, protected by Motorola’s ShatterShield technology.
It also boasts a Snapdragon 810 processor, a claimed 48-hour battery life, and two cameras – 21-megapixel and 5-megapixel.
The handset is also eligible for customisation via Motorola’s Moto Maker scheme.
This lets you choose “premium new design options” like durable ballistic nylon and genuine pebbled leather.

The Moto X Force will be available to purchase in the UK directly from Motorola.co.uk starting in mid-November.
The 32GB version of the handset will cost £499, while the 64GB is priced at £534.
It’s also going to be made available at Carphone Warehouse, starting £32 per month, with a £29.99 upfront fee.
