A new leaked picture of the Motorola X Phone or Moto X has leaked online, showing the phone being testing on a 4G LTE network.
The Moto X picture shows the heavily rumoured handset being running on the American 4G LTE network from Sprint, with a potential 4.7-inch display.
In the picture the Moto X seems to be running a vanilla version of Android, but Motorola’s own interface tends to stick fairly close to the base Google OS anyway.
Apart from the 4G icon in the top right hand corner, the shot gives little detail about the features of the upcoming flagship smartphone, but does offer an insight as to what the eventual device will look like.
Baring a strong likeness to the Google Nexus 4, the Moto X I said to pack a 4.7-inch display, which looks about right from the leaked image. It won’t have the full 1080p HD resolution though, instead settling for 720p HD.
Heavily tipped for an August 1 unveiling, the Moto X will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean via a dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 2GB of RAM.
With 16GB of internal storage, the Moto X is also tipped to have a removable battery, which is useful for those who like to carry spares or swap it out for one with a bigger capacity.
It has also been suggested that the Moto X will have a 10-megapixel camera in the rear with a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper.
Although Motorola has confirmed the Moto X flagship smartphone is in development, we’ve yet to see any official details on the handset.
From the leaks and rumours we’ve had so far, Motorola seems to be far more focused on the features of the Moto X. The leaked specs certainly don’t mean it will be battling head on against other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC One.
