Moto X (2015) and Moto G (2015) pictured in the wild

Motorola’s next big smartphone releases, the Moto X (2015) and Moto G (2015), have apparently been pictured out and about.

The Lenovo-owned manufacturer recently announced that it would be holding a special event on July 28, where the Moto G (2015) aka the Moto G 3 is expected to be unveiled.

Of course, this being the smartphone industry, we already know how it’s likely to shape up through a number of leaks.

Those leaks have continued with pictures of the budget Moto G 3, as well as what appears to be the high-end Moto X (2015).

The latter appears to have been leaked by a Brazilian Google+ user. It shows a device that looks more rugged and industrial than the Moto X (2014), with a thicker metal strip running around the rim and a car tyre-like black rear cover.

Interestingly, the device appears to have a little ingress in the rim enabling the removal of that back cover. This could be a sign that users will be able to customise the new Moto X themselves.

We also see what appears to be a strip of metal running from the camera lens to the dimple a third of the way down the back of the phone. It appears to echo what we’ve seen of the Moto G 3, albeit in a more premium material.

Speaking of which, we’ve also seen snaps of the new affordable Moto in the wild. As Phandroid points out, this simply confirms some of the pictures we’ve seen already, but it’s interesting to see the phone out and about in the wild.
