Moto 360 gains new features from Moto 360 Sport
The second-gen Moto 360 has inherited some features from its Moto 360 Sport sibling. And that’s on top of more new features courtesy of an Android update that landed last week.
Otherwise, the improvements include new app permissions, six new languages, and some bug fixes (including one that stopped you pairing the watch with Bluetooth headsets).
Last week, the Moto 360 2nd Generation was updated to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. This gave it extra gesture controls – as well as swiping up and down through cards by flicking your wrist forward or back, you can now dip into cards by dropping your arm down. Want to dip out of the card? Bring your arm up. You might get some odd looks on the bus, but it’s a pretty nifty feature.
Flicking your wrist through 180 degrees also brings you back to the home screen.

The update lets you send WhatsApp messages with your voice, so you don’t have to pull out your phone. Though you will need to be in a quiet environment. Plus you can receive calls through your Android Wear watch, as long as it has speakers, that is.
The update also makes the watch’s battery life a lot better.
