Mortal Kombat X Predator DLC coming this week with additional free content

After a number of frequent leaks and teases, the release date for Mortal Kombat X’s long awaited Predator DLC has finally been revealed by Warner Bros.
The Mortal Kombat X Predator Bundle will be available to download from July 7 for $8 (approx £3.99), with additional character skins that can be purchased separately, or as part of a larger bundle.
The bundle can also be bought as a part of the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack for $30 (approx £24.99). This bundle includes all of the currently available DLC characters and skins; including the homicidal Jason Voorhees.
Warner Bros has also announced that they will be giving away the Klassic Fatality Pack for free as a hearty “thank you” to their dedicated fans. This pack compiles classic fatalities from earlier games for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya and Johnny Cage.

Mortal Kombat X released to positive critical reception earlier this year, we gave it a 9/10 in our review. Although plenty of criticism was thrust upon its approach to pre-order bonuses and downloadable content in general.
Many critics disapproved of how classic characters were being held behind a paywall, a process that did nothing but inconvenience consumers. A broken PC release at launch didn’t help matters either.
The Predator Bundle will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. It is unknown as of yet whether the currently unreleased PS3 and 360 versions of Mortal Kombat X will support this DLC.
