More Samsung Galaxy Note 5 specs leak

Fresh reports have emerged concerning the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the monstrous specs it will contain.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 should be revealed in September of this year, going by previous Note launches. It might even launch earlier, in August, if one particular report proves accurate.

It’s perhaps unsurprising that we’ve already heard a number of spec rumours, and have even apparently caught a glimpse of what the new phablet will look like via a render.

Now SamMobile has come forward with a new batch of specs for the Note 5. According to “reliable insiders,” the Galaxy Note 5 will come with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. That’s the super-fast memory standard found in the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Samsung will also apparently debut a brand new Exynos 7422 SoC with the Note 5, which will be the company’s “first true single-chip solution.” This means that it will squeeze CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and modem onto one chip.

This adds to previous reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD display and an S Pen. Which, let’s face it, is not much of a rumour at all really.

It’s also been claimed that Samsung will stick with the Galaxy S6’s slippery glass back design and support for wireless charging, and that its front-facing 5-megapixel camera will feature OIS.
