Misfit Technical Tee has a pocket for your Misfit Shine

Misfit has launched a new piece of apparel that makes it easier than ever to carry your Shine fitness tracker with you.

The Misfit Shine is a handy device. You can wear it as a smartwatch, or pop it out of the strap and attach it to your person using the supplied clasp. But what if – like this correspondent – you find it tends to fall off quite easily? Then the Misfit Technical Tee is for you.

It has a special pocket on the sleeve for your fitness tracker, so it’ll never fall out. Which means you can focus on the task at hand.

It’s also a proper piece of fitness gear – it has seamless stitching for maximum comfort, is made from ultra-breathable material, and wicks away moisture.

It even has reflective stitching, so you’ll be seen if you’re out running at night. Or past 4pm in the UK winter.

The Technical Tee is available to buy now from the Misfit Store for $39.99 (£25).

Misfit recently announced the Flash, its more affordable wearable fitness tracker. It has almost the same skillset as the more expensive Shine – including the ability to tell the time and waterproofing – but comes in a range of bright colours including ‘lemon-lime Zest’ and ‘funky Fuchsia’.

Unlike most fitness trackers that require daily charging, the Shine and Flash take a single watch battery, which keeps them going for between four and six months. Even the Apple Watch can only dream of that kind of staying power.
