Wouldn’t it be great to have someone looking over your shoulder while you cook, making sure you don’t burn anything? Meet Meld.
It’s an automated cooking system that makes sure you don’t undercook or burn your food.
It consists of three elements. The Meld Knob replaces the knob on your gas or electric cooker. It automatically turns the heat up or down so it stays at the optimum temperature. How does it know what temperature it’s at? It receives data from the Meld Clip, which attaches to your pots and pans and measures the temperature of what’s cooking.

Of course you can add your own recipes and control the Knob manually, if you prefer. You can also use the app to set it to a specific temperature (200 degrees Fahrenheit, say), or a certain way of cooking (simmering, for example).
