Marques Brownlee just posted a OnePlus 2 unboxing to Snapchat

One of the world’s most popular tech vloggers has just posted a video of a OnePlus 2 unboxing to Snapchat.
Marques Brownlee, who boasts upwards of 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube, showed off the new device to his Snapchat followers late last night.
Unfortunately, we don’t actually get to see the OnePlus 2 as such. The phone itself is wrapped in plastic.
However, we do see the cardboard retail packaging, a OnePlus-branded USB-C cable, and a postcard with “#HYPE” written on it.
Here’s the video:

What this means is that a final version of the OnePlus 2 has been completed, and that handsets are now making their way out into the wild.
That’s not a huge surprise; the company has announced it plans to officially unveil the phone at a launch event on July 27.
Oddly, OnePlus wants to broadcast the event in 360-degree virtual reality, and even gave away free VR headsets so that customers could witness the occasion.
The OnePlus 2 is expected to carry a reworked Snapdragon 810 chip, a USB-C port, a 3,300mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner.
