Man City vs West Ham match preview
This fixture was re-arranged, thanks to extreme weather conditions ten days ago caused by Storm Ciara.
West Ham are currently languishing in 18th, in the relegation zone. Picking up a point or three could be crucial for the Hammers tonight, but it’s a big ask.
City have won three of their last five league games, while Moyes’ men have lost three of their last five and won none.
Pep’s City side have also scored more than double the amount of goals that the East-Londoners have and, as a result, it looks like West Ham have a mountain to climb this evening.
Currently out-gunned in every department, it seems the most West Ham can hope for this evening is a point. However, City have not been at their consistent best this season and the Hammers will be well aware that, if they turn in a performance that goes against their torrid form, an upset is far from impossible.
City have lost their last two, away at Spurs in the league and home to Manchester United in the League Cup, so West Ham will take some hope from those results. However, City know that regaining some semblance of form is important this evening and West Ham are well and truly in the firing line.
