Make £10,000 by building luxury Minecraft homes
It seems that video gaming is becoming more and more lucrative by the day.
A UK-based estate agent is hiring for a ‘virtual estate builder’ to create luxury homes in Minecraft.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a £10,000 salary, based on the creation of 10 different homes.
But here’s the catch: you’ll be recreating actual properties managed by Elysian Estates as a way to promote the homes.
“As a company that specialises in luxury accommodation, we believe our properties are among the most beautiful and elaborate in the whole of the UK,” explains Elysian Estates’ Rebecca Mayes.
Mayes continues: “Here at Elysian Estates, we want to showcase our visually striking properties in the most unique ways in order to do them justice.”
Over 70 million copies of Minecraft have been sold globally
Anyone over the age of 16 can apply, and there’s a chance to create “further projects” once the first 10 are completed.

If you’re keen to apply, all you have to do is recreate the exterior of Aldourie Castle, based on this photo pack.
Once that’s done, you’ll need to e-mail screengrabs of the virtual property to Elysian Estates with the subject line ‘Virtual Estate Builder Application’.
The application deadline is April 18, and the closing date for the hiring process is April 25. Successful candidates will be informed a week after that date, via email.
