Mafia 3 confirmed, full launch coming August 5

2K Games has confirmed Mafia 3 is coming, with the full launch announcement to be made on August 5.

Ahead of an official launch trailer, 2K Games has teased us by revealing Mafia 3 on Twitter and via an official press release.

All it says is that 2K will reveal Mafia 3 with an announcement trailer on Wednesday August 5 at 1pm BST. And for now we’ll have to be content with the above teaser image.

2K says the game will follow on from its predecessors, by immersing players in a world of organised crime through “rich narrative storytelling and a beautifully crafted game world”.

Those lucky enough to be going to Gamescom will be treated to a behind-closed-doors presentation too, so stay tuned to find out more from August 5.
