LucidSound unveils LS40 and LS20 universal gaming headsets

LucidSound has unveiled its next two sets of specialist gaming headphones: The LS20s and LS40s.
Following the company’s debut headphones, the LS30s, the LS20 will offer a more accessible headset for mainstream gamers, while the LS40s will offer a true high-end wireless headset.
In a press release, LucidSound detailed the offerings of the two new headphones, set to launch this holiday.
“The LS20 is a new category of gaming headset, bridging the gap of high-fidelity audio and advanced gaming control, addressing the needs of the everyday gamer. Compact enough to be truly portable, large enough to be truly powerful, the LS20 is sleek, discrete and remarkably adept at rising to the challenge of any and all audio environments.
“Featuring Active and Passive modes, the LS20 features a built-in rechargeable battery, providing powered amplification when used with console, PC/MAC, or mobile, yet working perfectly as a regular wired headset when the battery is powered down.”
The LS40, meanwhile, is a wireless headset that offers up to 15 hours of battery life. Both will also work with smartphones, allowing for audio playback, and can handle voice calls too.
