Logitech Announces “Comfort Lapdesk For Notebooks”

Apparently a mere lap isn't desk-y enough.

If you happen to use a laptop regularly Logitech’s Comfort Lapdesk for Notebooks might be worth adding as a late entry on your Christmas wish list. What it lacks in excitement, it makes up for in usefulness. Given the choice, I think I’d look for the latter in a notebook stand for sitting on my lap.

Apparently suited for any size laptop up to (and including) 17in in size the Lapdesk boasts a four-layer heat shielding and is made from such thrilling air-mesh fabric materials as polyester and polyurethane which Logitech reckons should feel comfortable resting on any user’s legs, while also remaining cool – I see no reason to refute such a claim. A 12 degree angled resting platform is intended to provide a more comfortable typing position and has the added advantage of raising any rested laptop’s screen up slightly.

At £29.99 the Lapdesk is hardly expensive and could be a decent late buy stocking filler. It’s certainly likely to be better than any impulse buy-alicious equivalent you might see on, say, QVC for a similar price.
