Loewe’s bild 3 TVs offer designer style without the scary price tag
Loewe’s entry-level bild 3 range is now on sale – and the prices aren’t as high as you might expect.
We first clapped eyes on the Loewe bild 3.55 TV at IFA in Berlin, where it impressed us by offering plenty of the German company’s trademark design panache without seeming to compromise on image quality.
That 55-incher is now joined by 43- and 49-inch models to complete the range, all available in a choice of Graphite or Light Grey finishes. The two smaller screens feature LCD panels and the big daddy is packing OLED tech. All, of course, have UHD resolution, as well as supporting HDR10 and HLG flavours of HDR, while the bild 3.55 OLED also supports Dolby Vision.

Sound-wise, there’s an integrated soundbar featuring four drivers, two passive radiators and 2x 40W of amplification. Bluetooth is built in, to take care of your music needs.
What you get from Loewe, though, which helps justify those premium prices, is sumptuous design of the sort you could unashamedly sit alongside that Rachel Whiteread concrete cast of the inside of a drinks cabinet you just bought for the fifth bedroom of your holiday home in Cannes.
Thankfully there’s not the if-you-have-to-ask-you-can’t-afford price tag to go with it. The bild 3 series starts at £1690 and heads up to £2790 for the OLED. There’s a plethora of options including a 1TB hard drive for the LCD models, as well as wall mounts, desk stands and floor stands.
The Loewe bild 3.43 and 3.55 are available now, while the bild 3.49 will slink into salubrious retail establishments around November.
