Live action Star Wars: Battlefront trailer channels the spirit of Kenobi

It seems with every passing day there’s a new reason to be excited about Star Wars.

Sunday saw the arrival of a new, goosebumps-inducing TV spot featuring yet more new movie footage.

Now we’ve got a brand new live action trailer for the Star Wars: Battlefront video game that launches later this month.

The new commercial for the game, which is released on November 17, channels the spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Just as the old Jedi master is reduced to a pile of clothes after being vanquished by Darth Vader in A New Hope, so are the folks leaving their every day lives join the Battlefront universe.

There’s even a guest appearance from actress Anna Kendrick who utters the immortal words: “If you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine.”
