Pebble has announced the launch of a range of bright new colour options for its Pebble smartwatch – but they won’t be around for long.
This new range comes in green, pink, and blue. Or rather, Fresh Green, Hot Pink, and Fly Blue, to give them their official moniker.
Other than these colour swaps, which apply to both the watch body and strap, these are exactly the same specification as the original Pebble, with the same $150 (around £89) price tag.
However, these new versions will be released in strictly limited numbers, so you’d best place your order if you like the look of them. They’re available exclusively through the Pebble website.
The original Pebble launched more than a year ago, and was the first smartwatch to really get the formula right. It was also arguably the last to date to do so, if you don’t count the cosmetic revamp that was the Pebble Steel.
Pebble smartwatches are far less flashy than the likes of the Android Wear-powered LG G Watch or the Tizen-powered Samsung Gear 2, but they’re simpler, cheaper, and last a lot longer on a single charge.
Accompanying these new bright colour options, Pebble has announced the availability of a new weather watch face from The Weather Channel on the Pebble App Store.
