Huge LG V35S ThinQ leak reveals a number of key specs and features

Earlier this week, we were treated to a bumper LG G7 ThinQ leak – and now the LG V35S ThinQ is getting the same treatment.

By way of context, the LG V35S ThinQ will be the successor to the LG V30S ThinQ, which was unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It wasn’t much to write home about, though, offering very little to differentiate itself from the regular LG V30, which carries the added bonus of not carrying the entirely superfluous ThinQ moniker.

If the latest leak from Android Headlines is to be believed, though, the V35 (ThinQ) could be a much more interesting proposition.

The blog is reporting that a ‘reliable source’ whispered a number of key V35 specs its way, proffering that the next V-series handset will feature a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display (18:9 aspect ratio), upgraded rear dual-camera setup, and (joy of joys) no notch.

Colour options will be limited to black and grey at launch, and you can also apparently expect a slew of AI-related software features (likely to be teased by the imminent G7). Audio quality will continue to be a key differentiator as well, with the V-series among the first phones to include QuadDAC technology.

The V35 ThinQ will be launched in 2018, though there’s nothing more specific. Having said that, the fact that the LG G7 is being unveiled in May suggests that the company will likely save the V35 for an autumn release, with IFA 2018 being one possible launchpad.
