LG Nexus 4 specs leaked?

According to the usually reliable @evleaks Twitter account, the LG Nexus 4 will offer a quad-core, 1.5GHz APQ8064 Snapdragon processor, 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 screen, 2GB of RAM, an option for either 16GB or 8GB of storage, an 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera, 2100mAh battery and Android Jelly Bean MR1 software. The device will reportedly weigh 139g and be 9.1mm in thickness.

The tipsters also posted a (fairly dull, it has to be said) spy shot of the Nexus 4, which is likely to be launched by Google on 29th October.

The leaked specs tally closely with the ones leaked by a Russian website last week, although @evleaks did offer slightly more information. With the new specs added, there doesn’t seem to be much about the Nexus 4 we don’t know – assuming that the leaks are true and from an accurate source, of course.

If they’re on the money, the specs suggest that the LG Nexus 4 will be a pretty powerful and speedy smartphone, although we suspect some will take issue with the maximum built-in storage being just 16GB. We suspect that this will be supplemented with a microSD slot (and probably a generous slice of free cloud storage via Google Drive).

We’ll be keeping an eye out just in case any more newsworthy leaks on the Nexus 4 occur, but we suspect that’ll be it until the big reveal at the end of the month.
