LG LifeBand Touch UK release date set for April
The LG LifeBand Touch UK release date is imminent as the Korean manufacturer tells TrustedReviews the fitness wearable will launch in April.
Having previously been pegged for a first half of 2014 rollout, an official LG spokesperson has confirmed the April release plans to us during the LG InnoFest 2014 conference in Venice.
What’s more, we can confirm that the LG LifeBand Touch will launch alongside the company’s CES showcased heart rate monitoring headphones.
Although an April LG LifeBand Touch UK release date has been confirmed, no pricing details or a specific launch date have been shared.
Set to be a direct rival to the Samsung Gear Fit and Nike Fuelband SE, the LG LifeBand Touch is a water resistant wrist band with an OLED display.
Capable of tracking your steps taken and calorie burn, among other metrics, the LifeBand can be paired with the headphones to get heart rate data direct to your wrist during a run.
Connecting to your smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0 the LifeBand Touch is able to offer call and messaging notifications direct to your wrist.
The band will launch with black, silver and red colour options.
