LG just brought one of the G5’s best features…to a fridge?
Every time you open your refrigerator you lose a ton of the cold air, meaning the poor fridge has to work doubly hard to keep your beers cool.
A noble endeavor, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Now LG is borrowing one of the signature features from its Android smartphones to enable users to check what’s in the fridge without even opening the door.

The feature, first rolled out in the LG Signature refrigerators is now being built into the firm’s French-door and side-by-side models.
Within its smartphones, Knock On has a slightly different functionality, but goes by the same principle. Users can double tap on the screen to power on the home screen.
Additionally, Knock Code enables users to unlock the phone when the display is off by tapping a sequence anywhere on the screen.
Also, at IFA LG announced a NeoChef microwaves that lowers cooking times through Smart Inverter technology, and offers linear power control than will defrost food more evenly.
The LG SpeedOven+ offers steam cooking and InfraRedHeating technology “to shorten cooking times while creating dishes that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, locking in the flavor of every ingredient.”
