LG G3 mini to feature 4.5-inch display?

New LG G3 mini leaks have surfaced, with latest reports suggesting the heavily rumoured spin-off will play host to a compact 4.5-inch display.

A move that would see the ‘mini’ branded device line up a full inch smaller than its 5.5-inch, QHD display packing sibling, the LG G3 mini’s claimed 4.5-inch form would also see it be smaller than its predecessor, the LG G2 mini.

Leaking under its supposed product name – the LG D722 – the LG G3 mini has popped up on the database of Indian import and export tracker, Zauba.

A repeated source of handset leaks, the Zauba listing of the supposed development device has pointed to the claimed 4.5-inch display being joined by a 5-megapixel rear-mounted camera and a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor – presumably the Snapdragon 400.

With the LG G3 mini having previously been tipped to host just a 720p, HD resolution, this leaked components list points towards a largely underwhelming device.

Although we must stress the leaked features should be taken with a pinch of salt given their less than official foundations, further LG G3 mini specs tipped for inclusion will reportedly see 8GB of internal storage line up alongside Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS, LTE, 4G connectivity and a 2100mAh Lithium-Polymer battery.

Although an LG G3 mini release date still shrouded in mystery, the sub-sized spin-off will not land until some time after the flagship LG G3 hits UK retailers on July 1.
