Lego Dimensions could get Portal, Jurassic Park and The Simpsons playsets in the future.

The upcoming Skylanders-style toys-to-life game, Lego Dimensions, could eventually feature playsets related to The Simpsons, Jurassic Park and even videogame Portal.

That’s according to now removed store listings from American supermarket chain Walmart.

Lego fansite Brick Enquirer managed to spot the listings before they were pulled though, and posted his findings online.

According to the post, Lego Dimensions will offer Team Packs based on Scooby Doo and Jurassic World (Lego: Jurassic World does exist after all), but there will also be The Simpsons and Portal-themed Level Packs.

Team Packs (£14.99) come with only the plastic toys , while Level Packs (£29.99) provide a set of toys and in-game content.

The Lego Dimensions Starter Pack, which costs between £85 – £95 depending on the platform, but comes with a Toy Pad, three mini-figures and a Batmobile toy.

Lego Dimensions already has a strong line-up of tie-ins for its toy-to-life features. These currently include:

  • DC Comics
  • Lord of the Rings
  • The Lego Movie
  • Back to the Future
  • Lego Ninjago

Lego Dimensions was announced in March with a release date pegged for sometime in September for Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.

The toys-to-life game category has been growing steadily for the past year or so. In 2014, Skylanders: Trap Team was launched alongside rival Disney Infinity 2.0.

Then Nintendo launched its own Amiibo toys-to-life range, which are compatible with a select number of Wii U and 3DS titles.

The Skylanders franchise is still the most popular though, with more than 240 million toys sold so far.

However, Nintendo’s amiibo have been incredibly popular with collectors.
