Leaked LG Nexus 5X renders show off new colour option

Purported press renders of the forthcoming LG Nexus 5X have again leaked online ahead of Google’s launch event later this month.

Following the packaging leak which confirmed the name earlier on Wednesday, Android Police has obtained images that show off the range of available colours.

The renders show the pure Android handset in white, black and a greenish blue dubbed ‘Ice Blue,’

These colours tie in with an Amazon listing promising the same three shades.

The Nexus 5X, which will replace the current Nexus 5, is expected to arrive with a 5.2-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 808 SoC and Type-C USB connectivity.

The Nexus 5X along with the Huawei-built Nexus 6P are expected to be officially announced on September 29 at a specially convened Google event.

There the firm is also likely to take the wrapper off the completed Android Marshmallow operating system, which will ship with the next Nexus phones.
