More Mini 10 options coming, too.
If a leaked roadmap is to be believed, Dell has another netbook on the way. Or at least it would if the Dell Mini 11 won’t purportedly have an 11.6in display which is, as we have discussed, is too large to count as a netbook.
Still, that 11.6in screen is listed as “HD” which should mean 1,280 x 720 at the very least – with 1,366 x 768 a possibility. Coupled to 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive option and Windows Vista the implication is that the Mini 11 is going to be just a little different to the standard netbook fare.
The leak also suggests that Dell will be adding new options to the Mini 10 range, including a six-cell battery, a TV tuner and Ubuntu Linux or Vista OS choices. These options should become available on the 17th, with pricing obviously varying.
The Mini 11 isn’t planed to arrive until Q3, so we’ll be waiting a little longer to see the exact nature of the beast.
