The large screen version of the Kindle Fire HD is now available to buy in the UK, with the Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch offering an 1920 x 1200p resolution and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch packs in Dolby audio technology and 10 hours of battery life, as well as a front-facing HD camera for video calling.

The Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch tablet gives a 10 hour battery life. Whilst boasting the latest TI OMAP 4470 processor and Imagination SGX544 graphics engine.
With the Amazon store in-built, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch offers users access to over 22 million movies, Tv shows, apps games, books, songs, audiobooks and magazines to download and use on thetablet. Any content bought via the Amazon store can also be utilised across several devices.
Available to buy with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, the slate also offers access to the Amazon Cloud for free. Amazon Silk browser is also included, as is an HDMI output and still weighs just 567grams and is 8.8mm thick.
