Journey coming to PS4 this month

Sony has confirmed Journey is coming to PS4 this month, with the release date just a couple of weeks away.
Developer thatgamecompany is bringing Journey to PS4 on July 21 with the game arriving with a graphics bump.
Not that it particularly needed it of course, with Journey being one of the most aesthetically pleasing games we’ve ever had the pleasure to play.
“On 21st July, Journey will descend on PlayStation 4 more stunningly beautiful than ever. If you have yet to discover its wonders, or desire to soar above the ruins and glide across the sands once again, this is the perfect time”, explained Aaron Kaufman, Community Strategist at Sony’s Santa Monica Studios.

What’s more, Journey arrives on PS4 as a cross-buy title. If you already digitally purchased Journey for PS3, then you’ll automatically get the PS4 version for free.
There’s no word on the Journey Collector’s Edition though, which was announced back in April. It was scheduled to arrive this summer packaging together HD remakes of three of thatgamecompany’s titles – Flower, Flow and of course Journey.
Journey was originally released back in 2012 and we gave it the coveted 10/10 Editor’s Choice score here on TrustedReviews.
“Journey is a masterpiece. It’s a short-lived experience, but totally captivating, and one you’ll be happy to repeat time and time again like a great piece of music or a much-loved movie”, wrote our games review, Stuart Andrews at the time. “It’s beautiful to look at, has a majestic and often haunting score, and feels like no other game before it. If we could, we’d force you to play it, but as it is we’ll simply urge you not to miss out.”
