Is this proof that the iPhone 7 won’t feature a headphone jack?
Fans of the 3.5mm audio jack may want to look away now…
The iPhone 7 is looking less and less likely to feature a headphone jack, it seems. A new iPhone 7 case leak has appeared online, and there’s no sign of the port.
The leak comes courtesy of prolific leaker and journalist Steve Hemmerstoffer.

As seen in the leak, the cases have space for speakers, buttons and a Lightning port, but no standalone headphone port hole.
The images match a long-standing rumour that Apple is abandoning the jack socket for the next flagship iPhone.

Instead, it’s said that headphones will connect via the Lightning port, just like an Apple charger.
This has caused plenty of controversy among Apple fans, many of whom are concerned that they’ll have to buy new equipment to listen to music using the iPhone 7.
