iPhone 5S prices and tariffs confirmed by EE

Network and retailer EE has confirmed its iPhone 5S prices and tariffs ahead of the phone’s official release this Friday, September 20.

Set to make the most of the iPhone 5S’ 4G capabilities, the network has now revealed its iPhone 5S prices, with Apple’s newly unveiled flagship phone set to be available on similar deals to that of its new colourful and cut-priced sibling, the iPhone 5C.

Set to cost wannabe owners as little as £26 per month, EE has confirmed that it will offer the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on a number of separate plans, with 4G data allowances ranging from 500MB to 20GB per month.

“As the UK’s biggest and fastest network, we’re delighted to offer iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c to customers on our superfast 4GEE service and our Orange and T-Mobile plans,” Pippa Dunn, Chief Marketing Officer, Consumer, EE said. “iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c are packed with great features which when combined with our double speed 4G network, allows customers to make the very most from their mobile experience.”

With all of the EE iPhone 5S tariffs coming with unlimited minutes and unlimited texts, the standard £36, 1.5GB data incorporating package will be available alongside a £149.99 upfront handset fee when taken with the 16GB capacity iPhone 5S. The same deal will see the 32GB and 64GB 5S priced £269.99 and £349.99 respectively.

Although no cheaper per month, EE will offer the same deals on the iPhone 5C with reduced upfront fees. The 16GB and 32GB iPhone 5C handsets will set you back £69.99 and £169.99 respectively.

For £41 per month, EE will only add an extra 0.5GB to the data allowance, with handset fees being dropped to £99.99 for the 16GB iPhone 5S.

For those with more extensive online needs, EE has also confirmed a £46 per month iPhone 5S tariff with a 10GB 4G data allowance. The entry-level iPhone 5S will cost £49.99 on this plan with the 16GB iPhone 5C dropping to £9.99. Full prices and plans can be found here.
